The Illustrated City: an homage to Sheffield’s street art scene

There’s so much beautiful art to enjoy when out and about in Sheffield.

My very first impression of Sheffield was of a city that wears its creative heart on its sleeve. There’s something so hopeful about being surrounded by art in your day-to-day life; on your walk into work, or whilst running errands around the city. In Sheffield, you are never far away from some great street art, and with it a gentle reminder that a city is more than a collection of buildings - it’s a living, breathing thing.

Whether you’re brand new to the city or have lived here your whole life, enjoy this collection of photos in celebration of our illustrated city and its artists.
