866 1580294319

The Reel Steel Cult Weekender returns to Abbeydale Picture House from Friday 13 to Sunday 15 March, with the 1920s picture palace bringing a real sense of occasion to match a choice selection of cinema's most iconic films.

Straight out of the blocks on Friday, the weekend programme starts with definitive horror slasher Friday The 13th (1980) and The Evil Dead (1981), followed by Assault On Precinct 13 (1976) and RoboCop (1987) on Saturday, and Studio Ghibli's Kiki's Delivery Service and Howl's Moving Castle on Sunday.

Robocop, Kiki's Delivery Service and Howl's Moving Castle are all being presented in rare 35mm screenings, with a special 35mm film projection tour at the Abbeydale Picture House taking place ahead of one of the two Studio Ghibli screenings.

Individual tickets can be purchased for each film or alternatively a full weekend pass gives you access to all films and the 35mm projection tour. All tickets are available here.
