Moor Market: A hub for independents
Home to over 90 independent traders and offering a unique shopping experience, you can find everything you need under one roof at the Moor Market. In November's Now Then, we featured a Moor Market page highlighting the good work of the following traders, so to say thank you to them for supporting the magazine, we thought we'd show them some extra love.
This pocket-sized beer shop is filled to the brim with a terrific selection of local, national and international beers, craft beers, real ales and ciders. The colourful range is a feast for the eyes of any beer lover and they get new stock in all the time, so be sure to keep an eye on their Twitter feed for new additions. If you see something you fancy, all you need do is tweet to reserve it. Owners Sean and Deborah are renowned for both their beer knowledge and their top-notch service, so pop in and say hello.
Serving up a taste of Nepal in the heart of Sheffield, Hungry Buddha's home-cooked, traditional food is flavoursome and nourishing. From Monday to Saturday, their Nepalese Thali is available to eat in or takeaway from 12pm and features a sumptuous combo of rice, dal, homemade pickles, chutneys and a choice of vegan, vegetarian or meat curry. Their menu may be small but it's perfectly formed and they've deservedly become a firm favourite with food fans in Sheff.
