140 academics have signed an open letter to the vice-chancellor, saying they are “extremely concerned” about the institution’s ties to companies like BAE Systems.
Protestors have been told they will have the electricity supply cut off, despite the university appearing to acknowledge that this will put the camp at risk.
The onerous restrictions, which included a blanket ban on members of
the public attending the launch of the report, appear to contradict
the University’s new freedom of speech policy.
