Maisy Ash

Maisy is a Counsellor (MBACP) & End of Life Conversation Facilitator, she works in Sheffield, Bakewell and online. She completed an MA in Writing from Sheffield Hallam University where she wrote make believe stories for young audiences. Maisy lives in the Peak District and loves the escapism and calm of heading out on a walk or bike ride amongst the green of the land. Maisy is working to introduce ecotherapy into her practice. Whilst never living directly in the city she loves the city of steel and all that it produces, especially Hendersons, which she believes can go on anything.

The taboo of death, dying and doulas

The taboo around death prevails in society. We still struggle to talk about it openly. Counsellor Maisy Ash wants to break that silence.
