Jon Maiden

As co-founder of Panjango, Jon is on an ambitious mission to transform the way young people learn by creating a world of experiential learning which connects learning to life and equips young people with the knowledge, skills and experience to find their purpose and fulfill their potential.

Prior to starting Panjango, Jon was the director of an arts education charity and oversaw its rapid transformation and growth including the purchase of a live arts and entertainment venue. Jon also formerly managed a school for blind and multiple-disability children in South Africa and was an Ambassador for Development for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in schools around Poland.

As a freelance consultant, Jon has helped to start and grow dozens of social enterprise projects around the UK.

In his spare time, Jon is a avid sportsman and "microadventurer", seeking adventure that is simple, low-cost and close to home.
