A Magazine for Sheffield
Andy Tattersall

I've got a life-long passion for music and collecting vinyl and was one of Sheffield's original high-rise pirate radio DJs on the legendary Fantasy FM as well as being a regular on the scene under the name of Tat back in the day and played at such nights as NY Sushi, Creamfields, Camp Bestival and Hard Times.

I now DJ on the Balearic Disco radio station Purple Radio https://www.purple-radio.co.uk and write and produce a monthly podcast of new music for https://www.trackhunter.co.uk/ You'll find a silly amount of shows, podcasts and mixes on my Mixcloud.

I completed a degree in Journalism at Sheffield in 2000 and went on to work at The Press Association as a sub editor. I've produced a couple of House/Techno records, one in the legendary Fon studio as well as authoring an academic book - so from the sublime to the ridiculous.
