Anisa Mustafa

I am a writer, photographer, sociologist, avid baker, crochet artist and cycling enthusiast. I split my time between research support at the University of Sheffield and doing writing and photography for myself. I am currently doing an MA in Creative Writing at the University of Sheffield and have a PhD in Sociology (University of Nottingham). Past jobs have included journalism, advertising, administration, research and teaching. My interests are in citizen politics, marginalisation and multiculturalism.

Fighting fires with food

Turning surplus food into affordable nutritious meals allows Food Works to address more than just food poverty in Sheffield with their three cafes, home-grown veg and frozen meals.
