Any local charity, non-profit organisation or sporting club who have
links with the Sheffield Wednesday community can now apply for an
emergency grant from a supporter group.

strength of Sheffield that people are keen to offer support through
these difficult circumstances and help out in their community," says VAS Chief Exec Maddy Desforges.
A new funding stream for local not-for-profits which are providing
vital support to autistic people and their families during the
coronavirus outbreak has been announced by Voluntary Action Sheffield
(VAS).
Common issues faced by independent publishers include plummeting ad sales, both online and in print, and the suspension of print distribution services during the lockdown.
The fund aims to support community organisations that are working to ease the immediate difficulties communities are facing and to support their recovery in the coming weeks and months.
