HYPERSTITION DUO Anti-capitalist sound scramblers share new music

HYPERSTITION DUO is the new project from Alex and Flora of much-missed Sheffield band Blood Sport. Their second EP, METABOLIC RIFT, is now available to preorder on their own POLYPHONIC ASSEMBLAGE label - and they've shared a teaser of mind-melting new track 'AUGURY' with us.

Writing about their new four-track EP, which was mastered by Basic Channel engineer Rashad Becker, HYPERSTITION DUO say:

Navigating the turbulent geometries of unweather, METABOLIC RIFT sees HYPERSTITION DUO diffract pluriversal indeterminacies and entangled protest music for the Capitalocene. Rhizomes percolate through bioluminescent soils; bionic embodiment blossoms; quantum freneticism mutates to the molten metrics of deep time. Tracing ecological corrosion to the iniquitous hands of colonial capital, METABOLIC RIFT focusses flight lines towards a post-capitalist commons.
