Editorial

2012 was a fantastic year for all Opus projects, but Now Then in particular came on leaps and bounds. While we are taking a break from print this month, we will be back with a vengeance in both Sheffield and Manchester in February, with a featured artist from the other side of the Pennines gracing our pages.

If your New Year’s resolution is to have a go at writing a review, interview a hero of yours, or try your hand at poetry, give us a shout. Our page space can be limited, but we will always point you in the right direction and we try to judge every piece of writing on its own individual merits.

This month we have artwork from local sculptor Simon Kent, articles on food banks, disused spaces, MRI scans and the world of online comedy, as well as the usual news and reviews, plus an interview with Lis Murphy of Musicians Without Borders UK.
