Welcome back. By the time April gets going, the city will be as alive with colour as Kate Morgan’s digital illustrations across this issue.

The featured interviews are with the Greater Manchester Coalition of Disabled People, whose work in the region has been ongoing since the 1980s, and Sounds From The Other City’s Mark Carlin ahead of their May bank holiday Sunday event.

C M Veys visited the Hatch shipping containers on Oxford Road, Elizabeth Gibson focuses on Travel for this month’s Word Life theme, Citizens Advice Manchester warn against loan sharks and we look ahead to the With One Voice International Arts and Homelessness Summit/Festival in November, including opportunities to get involved.

Reviews span books, live music, theatre and film – look to the right hand side to start digging in.

Cheerio for now, and enjoy the read.
